Utah cyclists raised $140,000 this weekend for Multiple Sclerosis research. The “Bike MS: Harmons Best Dam Bike Ride 2010” was a two-day, all-valley ride. Saturday, riders went as far north as Dayton, Idaho before returning through Rimchond and Amalga to the starting point at the Cache County Fairgrounds. Sunday they went south to Paradise, past Hyrum Dam, through Wellsville, Mendon and back to the fairgrounds.

The total ride was as little as 40 miles in one day to as long as 175 over two.

Each team raised money for the National MS Society Utah State Chapter. So far in 2010 the society has raised $977,695. Their goal is to raise $1.6 million. For more information visit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society website.
