The Night of Giving was a sellout crowd this year with 214 people attending. We had to add a silent auction this year because of all the generous donations. There were 25 items up for silent auction plus all the trees and gifts donated for the live auction. This year Jared Parker and his dad Lane Parker kept everyone on their toes as the bids were flying. The Parker’s donated their services as well.

This year along with the Christmas Tree and wreaths the Chamber asked for gift donations — something you could buy as a Christmas gift for someone. This was a hit as well. We had a battery operated car for kids, a one stop shopping for a small boy and girl with all kinds of things to play with, kitchen set, barbecue set, tents, games, movies, and more.

We also had an airplane discovery flight and two tickets to CATS musical coming in January to the Ellen Eccles theater and much more. So there were fun surprises in store for all attending.

The final total is still calculating but we should exceed $15,000. It was a successful event enjoyed by all that attended!
