Bobcats fall to the Panthers
Sky View Bobcat hockey team played a tough Northern Utah independent team Monday night but fell in the end 4-6. Sky View led early but the Panthers came back from 2 down to tie the game at 4. Then they took the lead at the end of the second period. A couple of late penalties in the third period hurt the Bobcats chances of a come back and a empty net goal with a minute twenty left in the game sealed the game for the Panthers.
The Bobcats were led once again by center Tanner Gray who hit 3 goals, goalie Tanton Jeppson had 45 saves, and Braden Limb gave 2 assists. Others scoring were Jason blau with 1 goal; Adam Snow and Jake Hill each had assists.
There are two games left before the playoffs. The first is Monday, Jan. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Salt Lake Sports Complex against East. And the second came is Monday, Jan. 18 against Judge Memorial at the Eccles Ice Center at 7:15 p.m. Playoffs start at the end of the month.
