The Sky View Lady Bobcats found the end of their tournament run Thursday afternoon, losing to the Snow Canyon Warriors, 59-52. The heavily favored Bobcats found themselves down, 20-8 after one quarter of action and never found their way back on top. Senior guard Nicole Hansen hit three 3-pointers in the first half and Lady Bobcats crawled back within eight points, and the Lady Bobcats trailed, 31-23 at halftime.

The Warriors held senior forward Amy Andrus to eight points in the first half, but Andrus stepped up her play in the second half, scoring 17 points to finish the night with a career-high of 25 to go along with 13 rebounds. Senior Nicole Hansen was the only other Bobcat in double figures with 11 points.

The Warriors balanced offense was just too much for the Lady Bobcats. Warriors guard Liz Ricks led the team in scoring with 15 points and hit three 3-pointers. Amy Harris also chipped in 15 points and Rachel Wade had 10 points of her own.

The Bobcats closed within five points of the Warriors on multiple occasions during the fourth quarter, but never cut the deficit any closer.
