Public Notice is hereby given that the Smithfield Planning Commission will hold a regular Planning Commission Meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 in the Smithfield City Council Chambers, 69 North Main, Smithfield, Utah.

7:00 p.m. Opening Ceremonies

Workshop session: The Commission will continue discussion of Ordinance #10-03 which deals with Residential Protective Housing Facilities and amendments to Title 17, in particular sections 17.93 “Residential Facility for Handicapped Person”; and 17.94 “Residential Facility for Elderly Persons”.

3. 7:30 p.m. Mont Poulsen has requested time with the Commission to discuss re-dividing three (1 half acre, and two 12,500’) lots on the north end of Hunter Meadows Subdivision into four 10,000 foot lots. The 10,000 foot lots are in conformity with the zoning for the area and the adjacent lots. Zoned R-1-10
4. 7:40 p.m. Continuation of the request by Craig Wyatt of Architectural Nexus, agent for David Lillywhite Construction, Inc., for approval of a Commercial Conditional Use Permit to allow an extended stay motel, a facility to rent living space to individuals who need housing for longer than one or two nights located at approximately100 North 400 West. 5. 7:50 p.m. Merlin Humpherys has requested approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow a home based small engine repair business located at 475 North Main. Zoned R-1-10
