Sky View grapplers struggle at the Annual Bobcat Brawl

The Bobcats had a several individual victories this last weekend at the annual Bobcat Brawl, but were only able to manage a couple of team victories in the tournament held at Sky View High School.
The tournament included teams from Preston, Logan, Mountain Crest, Viewmont, Salem hills, Bountiful, and Morgan.

Sky View’s team victories were against Preston and Bountiful.
Two Sky View wrestlers were undefeated in the tournament; Braden Anderson at the 145 pound weight class, and Klay Kelsey at the 215 pound weight class. Abraham Herrera and Chet Anderson both won all but one match.
At the end of the tournament the coaches voted for the Most Valuable Lower Weight Class Wrester and Most Valuable Upper Weight Class Wrestler. The award for MVP of the lower weight class was Sky View’s Braden Anderson.
The Bobcats will square off against the Mountain Crest Mustangs Thursday night in Hyrum. They will then head to Brigham City Friday and Saturday to compete in the Richardson Invitational held there annually.
