The Smithfield City Council will meet Wednesday evening to consider: planning commission appointment, public hearing for 10 acre annexation request (near Lee’s Marketplace), public hearing for final 2010-2011 budget, report on health days, appoint youth council advisors. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at city hall (96 S Main) on June 8, 2011. It is open to the public.
A Smithfield City Redevelopment Agency meeting will follow the city council meeting.
