It’s homecoming week at Sky View and the week has been full of activities including an assembly, a water party, the parade, Mr. Sky View Pageant and much more.

This week has been jam packed full of fun activities at Sky View. Wednesday night was the annual Homecoming Parade featuring most of the clubs and athletic teams, mixed in with the band and local businesses.

Other activities included a Powder Puff football game that was postponed from its original night due to lightning and stormy weather. On Tuesday there was a Water Party to follow up the Homecoming Assembly held on Monday. Thursday night after the Powder Puff game there was a movie shown out on the football field.

A new Mr. Sky View was also crowned this week as Jeff Huffman prevailed in the competition that was held after the parade on Wednesday.

All of the activities have led up to the big match up between the Sky View Bobcats and the Provo High Bulldogs.

The Bobcats are 3-1 on the season after drying up the Lakers of Bonneville last week in a 45-7 victory.

Quarterback Braxton Godderidge ran for four touchdowns and threw a 22 yard pass to Alex McCrae. Leading rusher Dane Anderson cashed in one of his 21 carries for another score. Anderson finished the night with 128 yards rushing.

Provo travels to Smithfield to face the Bobcats after a 3 point loss to Wasatch last week. The Bulldogs are 1-4 for the season posting a narrow victory over Mountain View two weeks ago.

The Bobcats are ready to battle the Bulldogs tonight under the lights at Sky View. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Those unable to attend the game can listen live on Cache Valley Radio Group’s Channel 1390 AM or 103.3 FM.

One final event rounds out the Homecoming week and that is the big dance that will be held on Saturday at 8:00 p.m.

Go Bobcats!!!
