Boundary meetings set for north Cache elementary schools

Two public hearings are scheduled over proposed boundaries for north Cache elementary schools. With a new school opening next year and the change of all elementary schools to K-5, boundaries will be set for Sunrise, Summit, Greenville, and North Park. Two options are currently presented on the the district website.
In both options the boundaries for Sunrise and the new Smithfield elementary school will remain the same.
The North School Boundary Options map shows how the boundaries will shift south and east between options 1 and 2.
The first meeting is at Sunrise elementary in Smithfield on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. The next meeting is Thursday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m at Greenville elementary in North Logan.
